SDLL Spring 2022 Season Tryouts!

Tryouts for children league age 6-12 and players signed up for the Intermediate Division will take place this Saturday January 22th. Tryout times are listed below:

League Age Time Field
12 year olds 8:00             Major Field
11 year olds 10:00 Major Field
10 year olds 12:00             Major Field

6-8 year olds 8:00    Minor Field
9 year olds 10:00 Minor Field
Intermediates 12:00 Minor Field

Note: Tryouts for 6 and 7 year olds are not mandatory- only those who would like to be eligible to be drafted to the Farm Division (Kid Pitch) should tryout. 6 and 7 year olds that do not tryout will automatically be placed into the Rookie Division (Machine Pitch).

Determining League Age: Your child’s league age is determined by their age on August 31, 2022. For example, if your child is currently 10 years old and will turn 11 August 10, 2022, they are considered league age 11. If your child is currently 10 but turns 11 on September 1, 2020, they are considered league age 10. It is important to identify league age so that your child completes tryouts with the correct age group. If you are still unsure about your child’s league age, please email [email protected].

Makeup tryouts will be scheduled for Saturday January 29 times TBD.
